In this regard, the committee emphasized the critical need to enhance coordination and cooperation between the Ministries of Electricity and Energy and Oil and Minerals, along with other relevant government ministries and institutions, to ensure the urgent provision and delivery of fuel to power plants, thereby increasing generation capacity to alleviate the suffering of citizens during the scorching summer currently experienced by coastal governorates.

In the same context, the committee received a briefing from Mr. Lamlas, the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, who outlined the local authority's efforts to enhance the health sector, including supporting health corporations in the capital to combat summer fevers. He also detailed ongoing efforts to stabilize the supply of essential goods and provide bread, as well as ensure fuel availability for water pumping and sewage treatment plants.

The committee concluded its meeting by affirming to remain in an open-ended session, as directed by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, to continuously follow up on the humanitarian situation in the capital, Aden, and the other governorates of the South; oversee the operations of service institutions; ensure support for their efforts; and expose any parties obstructing their work to public opinion.
