STC Acting President Gets Briefed on Work Progress of Mediating and Settling Tribal Vendettas Committee in Al-Hadd District

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, met today, Sunday, with the Committee of mediating and settling vendetta cases in Al-Hadd District, Yafe'a, headed by Ali Mohammad Bibak. Al-Bakri.

During the meeting, which was attended by Brigadier General Jalal Al-Rabi'ie, Chief Staff of the Security Belt Forces (SBFs), and Commander of the SBFs in the capital, Aden, Mr. Al-Kathiri listened to a detailed explanation from the committee's head and members on its progress of work, tangible achievements in settling many tribal vendetta cases and disputes, as well as a number of challenges facing the committee and ways that would contribute to overcoming them.

Al-Kathiri emphasized the need for the committee to intensify its efforts in coordination with the judicial authority and security services, as well as the local leadership executive body (LLEB) in the governorate and Al-Hadd district, to ensure the resolution of all blood feuds, to defuse tensions, and to preserve innocent lives.

Al-Kathiri highlighted the committee's crucial role in consolidating security and stability in Al-Hadd district, emphasizing the need to intensify awareness-raising programs and activate community initiatives that promote the values of fraternity among all the district's residents.
