The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Tuesday, with the Chairman of the Hadramout Center for Documentation, Publishing and Historical Studies, and the supervisor of Aden Center for Historical Researches and Studies, Sheikh Mohammad bin Salem bin Ali Jaber.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed Sheikh Mohammad bin Salem bin Ali Jaber, praising the great efforts made by Hadramout and Aden centers in studying, preserving, and documenting the history of the South as a homeland, identity, and people, whose enemies tried hard to obliterate and erase it from existence through the practice of clear falsification of its history, and the identity of its people, which are deeply rooted in history.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to exert more efforts in documenting the history of the South, as it is considered the front of the South to the world, as well as to pay attention to the southern national identity, stressing the readiness of the Transitional Council to overcome any difficulties facing the work of the two centers.
In turn, Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem bin Ali Jaber expressed his great happiness at meeting President Al-Zubaidi, praising his keenness to support research work that document the history of the South.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Sheikh bin Ali Jaber delivered a brief explanation of the work of Hadramout and Aden centers in studying, documenting and publishing the history of the South, as well as the difficulties and obstacles facing their work.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Council, the official spokesman for the Council, President of the National Southern Media Authority, and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Salmi, Head of Aden Center for Studies, and Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei, Vice-President of the National Southern Media Authority, Head of the Radio and Television Sector.
