Presidency of the Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting headed by President Al-Zubaidi
The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held, on Thursday, its periodic meeting, chaired by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Council.
In the meeting, which was attended by the Council's ministers in the parity government, the Presidency of the Council reviewed the minutes of its previous meeting, and what has been accomplished of its decisions.
The Presidency also reviewed the results of President Al-Zubaidi's meetings with the money exchangers and heads of banks in the capital, Aden, praising the historic decisions made in the economic meeting chaired by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi last Monday with the Economic Committee, the Southern Money Exchangers Association, and the heads of commercial banks in the capital.
The Presidency of the Council expressed its satisfaction with the positive impact of the measures taken, and their rapid repercussions in the improvement of the local currency rate against foreign currencies, stressing that implementing these measures would improve the living conditions of citizens.
In the meeting, the Presidency of the Council discussed the briefing provided by the head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Council, on issues related to developments and events in the southern arena during the last period, and recommendations aimed at strengthening the role of the Council externally.
During the meeting, a number of related reports were reviewed, including the bi-monthly report of the activity of the National Assembly of the Council, which was reviewed by the Vice-Chairman of the Assembly, in addition to a full explanation by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Council, on the results of the meeting, that was held via visual communication, with the External Southern Dialogue Team, in addition to reviewing the analytical monitoring report for the month of July 2021, issued by the Decision-Making Support Center.
At the conclusion of its periodic meeting, the Presidency of the Transitional Council discussed a number of issues related to the work of some of the council's bodies, and took the necessary measures regarding them.
