The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met today, Saturday, in the capital, Aden, with the Director General of Taxes and senior taxpayers in Lahj governorate, Nazeer Al-Tohaish, and the Director of Security for Tur Al-Baha district in Lahj, Colonel Adel Al-Tohaish.
The meeting discussed the various conditions in Lahj governorate in general, and in Tur Al-Baha district in particular, and the possibilities available to rescue it from its current tragic situation.
President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to exert more efforts to ensure a stable life for citizens in Lahj governorate, stressing the importance of concerted efforts to improve the general conditions in Lahj in general, and the development of Tur Al-Baha in particular.
President Al-Zubaidi also stressed the importance of the role and work of taxes in Lahj, as well as the security role that falls on the shoulders of the Security Department in Tur Al-Baha district.
In turn, the Director General of Taxes for Senior Taxpayers in Lahj governorate, and the Director of Security for Tur Al-Baha District of Lahj, expressed thanks to the President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi for meeting them, as well as for his great efforts aimed at achieving the aspirations of the people of the South in restoring their full sovereign state.
President Al-Zubaidi got briefed, by Mr. Nazeer Al-Tohaish, on a number of difficulties facing the work of taxpayers in Lahj, and the illegal interferences facing their work.
For his part, the director of security for Tur Al-Baha district, delivered a detailed explanation on the security conditions in the district, pointing out to a number of obstacles facing the work of Tur Al-Baha Security Department, indicating that there are interventions by the local authority in Lahj, including the creation of illegal checkpoints to collect fees.
