President Al-Zubaidi meets with a number of social, military and political personalities from Al-Mahra

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, met on Tuesday, in the capital, Aden, with a number of social, military, and political dignitaries and personalities from Al-Mahra governorate.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the delegation of Al-Mahra governorate, stressing that the Southern Transitional Council pays special attention to the governorate for of its specificity.

President Al-Zubaidi called on all the people of Al-Mahra to join hands, close ranks, preserve the unified social fabric, and curb the forces of evil aimed at sowing discord and dissention among the people of the governorate.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the dignitaries and personalities of Al-Mahra who came to Aden the capital, stressing that the Transitional Council is the incubator and container for all the people of the south, indicating that their arrival today to the capital Aden and bearing the trouble of long travel is only clear evidence of that.

President Al-Zubaidi expressed the Transitional Council’s readiness to work as much as possible to provide what Al-Mahra and its sons require, calling on the attendees to raise the needs and requirements of the governorate to work on providing them in accordance with the priorities and available capabilities.

The meeting reviewed the conditions of Al-Mahra governorate on the various sectors and the role and activity of the Transitional Council and its presence in the public life of the people of the governorate.

The meeting also touched on the Riyadh Agreement and the political gains it achieved by recognizing the right of the people of the south and their sovereignty over their homelands, and placing the issue of the south on the map of regional and international concern.

President Al-Zubaidi listened from the attendees of Al-Mahra to an explanation of the general conditions in the governorate, in addition to what the governorate is witnessing in terms of political mobility, as well as the difficulties and obstacles that the people of Al-Mahra are facing, and the plots and intrigues that are being hatched against them to sow discord among the people of the governorate.

The attendees expressed their happiness at meeting the President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, reiterating their support and backup for all steps of the Council's leadership to seize the southern right.

The attendees emphasized their rejection and opposition to terrorism in all its forms, and their constant endeavor to achieve security, safety, peace and tranquility among the community in the governorate.
