President Al-Zubaidi checks out on the situation in the governorate of Socotra Archipelago

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, met on Sunday, with Nazem bin Qablan, vice-chairman of the Executive Authority of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Socotra Archipelago, and a number of the council’s leaders in the governorate.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi praised the tremendous efforts made by the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the governorate of Socotra Archipelago, stressing the need to make more efforts to serve the southern citizens in the governorate.

President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi urged the local leadership in Socotra governorate on the necessity of consolidating the southern identity as the cause of a people who have suffered from the ravages of the wars launched by the forces of Sana'a regime, in addition to consolidating the principle of reconciliation and tolerance as supreme principle that the southerners follow until the full achievement of the goals of their southern revolution.

President Al-Zubaidi emphasized that Socotra is of special importance in building the coming South State, as it is the jewel of the South at the ocean, in addition to being considered its tourist, historical and heritage destination.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the importance of the stage the south is going through, which requires close ranks until the full achievement of the southern revolution's goals in liberation, independence, and building a federal, free and fully sovereign southern state.

President Al-Zubaidi called on the members of the local leadership in Socotra Governorate to check on the suffering of the southern citizens in Socotra Archipelago, to get closer to the citizens, and to carry out the tasks that would alleviate the crises targeting the southern citizens.

For their part, bin Qablan and the leaders of the Transitional Council in Socotra briefed President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi on the latest developments in the governorate, appreciating the efforts he is making for the people of the south in order to gain their right to restore and build their independent state.
