The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, issued a decision on Thursday evening to impose a partial curfew in all the southern governorates, as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the new Corona virus.
The decision read by the spokesperson of the Transitional Council, Eng. Nizar Haitham, included preventing the presence and movement between neighborhoods in the cities of the governorates, its streets, villages and public roads, starting from ten in the evening until six in the morning, indicating that the decision will be active until the end of the conditions that necessitated its issuance.
The decision excluding those concerned with emergency tasks related to the public services of citizens and humanitarian cases, while the decision obligated all military and security units to implement its provisions each within the scope of their competence, and to be implemented on the date of its issuance on March 26 2020.
The leadership of the Transitional Council called upon all the people of the south to cooperate with the military and security services in all governorates to commit to implementing this decision in this sensitive and important circumstance that calls for solidarity together to preserve the health and safety of all in our beloved southern land and protect public and private property, wishing Allah to spare our people and our country the harm of this epidemic, so we move together towards peace, construction and development.
