President Al-Zubaidi attends centenary commemorating martyr "Abu Yamamah" in Aden

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, attended on Thursday in Aden the capital, the centennial anniversary of commemorating the hero martyr Commander Munir Mahmoud Al-Yafi (Abu Yamamah) and his companions.

President Al-Zubaidi delivered a speech in which he said: “The young commander Munir Al-Yafi’i was not just a brave military leader with unique leadership qualities, he was an interesting role model by his boldness and courage in combating terrorists and evils, in which he defended his family with no fear of death and so the southerners loved him from deep of their hearts".

President Al-Zubaidi added that: "today, more than a hundred days past since our hero has gone, but we have not forgotten him, and for a hundred years later, our future generations will not forget him, the next generations that will not meet him will be taught about him and will remember the path of the martyr, for them to realize how he was a commander and a man who made the glory and the victories of this nation".

President Al-Zubaidi indicated that Abu Al-Yamamah was revolutionist in his life and became an inspiration to the revolutionaries after he's gone, and today we renew to him and to all the martyrs the pact on victory for the cause of our people and our homeland until the restoration of our southern state and its capital, Aden.

a number of speeches delivered in the ceremony from the family of the martyr Abu Yamamah and from his companions, also distributed to the attendants a book commemorating the march and accomplishments of Abu Yamamah, and a documentary film previewed about commander Abu Yamamah and his heroic achievements and deeds against the Houthi militia and terrorist groups .
