The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, chaired on Tuesday the meeting of the Committee of Dialogue with southern parties and components of the Southern Transitional Council, in the presence of Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Head of the Dialogue Committee, and a number of the members of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.
In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi praised the work accomplished by the Dialogue Committee, and said: "There is no work without mistakes, whoever does not work does not make mistakes, we always work continuously to evaluate our work at each stage of this project, and today we have to support the positives, and correct the negatives if any. "
President Al-Zubaidi added: "We are not asking for authority and not seeking fame, and all what we do is for the sake of our southern people, to achieve its goals in freedom and independence and the restoration of the full sovereignty state, and this begins with dialogue".
At the end of his speech, President Al-Zubaidi wished the Committee all the success in its work, and said: "We are still keeping our words that we are ready to go to those who cannot come to us, and for the South we will do everything".
For his part, Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly, Head of the Dialogue Committee with the southern parties and components thanked President Al-Zubaidi for the attention and care he pays to the dialogue, he said: "Dialogue is the safe path through which we can reach our goal, and we all strive to achieve".
He added: "The sitting of the southerners with each other is a clear message to the inside and outside, and it is the appropriate response to the enemies of the South who said that southerners cannot sit together.".
