President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi meets representatives of the Southern Women Group for Peace

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Monday with representatives of the Southerners women Group for Peace, headed by the president of the group, Radhia Shamshir Ali.The meeting comes within the framework of the Southern Transitional Council meetings with civil society organizations.The president of the Transitional Council stressed that the southern woman has a leading character in the political and social practice, praising the role played by the women in the society, indicating the Transitional Council readiness to support the missions of the group for peace.

For her part, Radhia Shamshir, expressed her thanks to the President of the Southern Transitional Council for his good reception, expressing the group's confidence in the Southern Transitional Council and its goals and activities for peace.

Shamshir pointed out to the importance of the Transitional Council support to the United Nations decree No. 1355 that stresses on the woman role in peace.
