President Al-Zubaidi and Members of the Transitional Council Return to Aden
President of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidros Qasim Al-Zubaidi and the members of the Council Maj. Gen. Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Engineer Adnan Al-Kaf, Major General Salim Al-Soqatari, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Saadi, Lawyer Niran Soukqi, and Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki returned to the capital Aden coming from Al-Mukalla, after successful field visits to the governorates of Shabwa, Hadhramout and Al-Mahrah.
The STC program of field visits was welcomed and widely supported by the inhabitants of the visited areas. The Southern Transitional Council inaugurated the National Assembly and local headquarters of the Transitional Council in the three governorates within the framework of building and establishing the STC bodies and departments in all the southern regions.
During those visits, a number of meeting were held with several southern components and sectors that showed support of the southern people for the Southern Transitional Council as representative of the southern cause in any future dialogues to lead the ship to safe shore and restoring and building the southern state.
