The local leadership executive body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Hadhramaut Valley and Desert delivered on Monday medical and emergency aid to the Seiyun Public Hospital Corporation and Al-Qatn Hospital, which was provided by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the STC president.
The assistance, which is part of urgent humanitarian interventions for residents of Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, included a comprehensive package of medicines, devices, equipment, and medical supplies aimed at enhancing the capacity of the health sector and improving the level of services for patients under the current circumstances.
Mr. Abdulmalik al-Tamimi, Director of the Social and Public Affairs Administration of the Assistant LLEB, confirmed that the Transitional Council places great importance on the health sector and is keen to enhance the supplies of hospitals and health facilities amid the current humanitarian and service-related challenges.
Mr. Abdulrahman al-Jifri, head of the Seiyun Executive Body, noted that this medical and emergency aid represents important support for the health sector in the district and will contribute to improving the level of health services provided, and he praised the Transitional Council's leadership for its commitment to supporting vital sectors, primarily health.
Dr. Hassan al-Kathiri, Deputy Manager of Seiyun Public Hospital Corporation for Technical Affairs, explained that the medical aid will help alleviate the suffering of patients and enhance the hospital's readiness to receive emergency cases and provide necessary healthcare. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to President Al-Zubaidi for this generous support and continued interest in the health sector in Hadhramaut Valley.
They stated that this assistance comes within the framework of the STC leadership's focus on supporting the health sector, alleviating the suffering of citizens, and enhancing medical readiness in the hospitals of the Valley and Desert to meet urgent humanitarian needs and contribute to the stability of health services.
