STC Shibam Continues Distributing Food Baskets for Vulnerable Families
The local leadership executive body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Shabam district, Hadhramaut governorate, launched on Wednesday a process of distributing food baskets provided by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the STC President, to the most needy families.
The head of the STC executive body in Shabam, Ali Qasim bin Talib, confirmed that this initiative comes within the framework of the Southern leadership's concern for the living conditions of citizens and its ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of poor families amidst the difficult economic conditions experienced by the districts of Hadhramaut Valley.
The benefiting citizens expressed their profound thanks and gratitude to President Al-Zubaidi and the local leadership of the STC in Shabam district, appreciating this humanitarian assistance which has helped ease their living burdens, and commended the good organisation and smoothness of the distribution process.
