President Al-Zubaidi Inspects Workflow at Ministry of Local Authority in the Capital Aden

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), inspected on Wednesday the workflow at the Ministry of Local Authority in the capital, Aden.

President Al-Zubaidi, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Local Authority, Mr. Mou'in Mahmoud and a number of ministry undersecretaries and director-generals, reviewed the performance level at the ministry's main building and its various sectors, in addition to the efforts made to accomplish its assigned tasks and the mechanisms for communication and supervision of the administrative units within the local authorities across the governorates.

The President received a detailed explanation regarding the development programs and projects for administrative units in the governorates and the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Local Authority in coordination with international organizations to implement capacity-building and qualification programs for local authority leaderships.

President Al-Zubaidi further listened to a brief overview of the workshops and training courses planned by the ministry for the coming year, 2026, to prepare plans and budgets, local governance courses, economic development, and other programs related to vital sectors to contribute to supporting the implementation of comprehensive economic reforms and the execution of sustainable projects and programs.

President Al-Zubaidi emphasized the importance of enhancing the role of the Ministry of Local Authority in developing the performance of local authorities. In this regard, His Excellency directed the preparation of the ministry's building to enable it to carry out its duties and elevate the level of institutional work across all administrative sectors in the governorates.
