President Al-Zubaidi: The North will be liberated through the cohesiveness of loyal national forces

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reiterated the importance of unifying the efforts of the national forces within the Leadership Council to liberate the Northern areas under the control of the Houthi militia. These remarks came during his meeting today, Wednesday, at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Aden, with the Governor of Dhamar Governorate, Major General Ali Mohammed Al-Qawsi.

President Al-Zubaidi reaffirmed that the legitimate leadership has repeatedly shirked the national duties assigned to it to liberate the areas suffering under the weight of Houthi injustice and oppression in the North and pointed out that sincere efforts had been exerted by the national forces within the PLC to prepare for the decisive liberation battle. However, those efforts were obstructed by an irresponsible leadership that shrank its national duty to save its citizens from the injustice of the militia, abandoned the task of liberating the land, and turned to fabricating crises and sowing discord in the liberated South.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi called on the sincere national forces in the North to unite their ranks and prepare to wage the decisive battle to liberate the North from the grip of the militia, affirming the readiness of the Southern Armed Forces to contribute effectively to the anticipated battle.

For his part, Governor Al-Qawsi expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to President Al-Zubaidi for all the genuine efforts he is making to redirect the compass of the national battle toward the common enemy represented by the Houthi militia and allied groups.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Imad Mohammed, Office Director of the Vice Chairman of the PLC.
