President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Cabinet Secretariat Workflow

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Tuesday, at the Presidential Palace with Mohammed Salem Bahibri, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the workflow of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the level of administrative and organisational performance, and the mechanisms for communication and coordination with relevant bodies and authorities to ensure the implementation of the Cabinet decisions and follow up on the outcomes of its meetings.

The meeting further discussed efforts to activate the work of ministries and government institutions, enhance institutional discipline, and create mechanisms for preparing and submitting periodic reports to help improve government performance and overcome existing challenges.

Similarly, the meeting reviewed plans and programmes for training and qualifying staff of the General Secretariat, in partnership with local and international organisations, to improve the efficiency of human resources and strengthen their professional and administrative capabilities.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of doubling efforts to advance institutional performance and promote integrated work among various government bodies, positively reflecting on the level of public services provided to citizens.
