Massive Mass Women’s Rally in Al-Mahra Sit-in Square Calls for Declaration of South Arabian State

A large-scale mass women's rally took place on Sunday in the sit-in square of Al-Ghaydah district, Al-Mahra governorate, demanding the declaration of the South Arabia state and full political, administrative, and security self-determination for the Southern people.

Participants raised banners and chanted slogans reflecting Southern women's aspirations and their belief in the right of the people of the South to determine their own future and manage the affairs of their state and emphasized that women have been and will forever remain proactive partners in all stages of the unrelenting struggle.

Ms. Omrah Al-Jadahi, Director of the Women and Children’s Administration at the Al-Mahra Transitional Council Executive Body, noted that women's participation in such events reflects their high level of national awareness and deep belief in the justice of the cause of the South.

The massive event reaffirmed that these rallies are an extension of the peaceful popular movement that has been taking place across the governorate and sends a clear message that the women of Al-Mahra stand united with the demands of the popular massive masses of the South. They expressed full support for all efforts aimed at restoring the state of South Arabia and realizing the aspirations of future generations.

The event included awareness-raising and cultural segments that highlighted Mahri women's understanding of national issues and their proactive role in strengthening social cohesiveness and preserving Southern identity and underlined the importance of continuing peaceful struggle and coalescing around the political leadership, led by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, until the desired goals are achieved.

At the conclusion of the event, the women of Al-Mahra reiterated their pledge to continue peaceful action and active participation in various national activities, reaffirming the prominent role of Southern women in the battle for awareness and state-building.
