President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Construction Plan for Shabwah Conference and Exhibition Centre Project

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reviewed the construction plan for the proposed Conference and Exhibition Centre to be built within the campus of Shabwah University, as per directives issued during His Excellency's visit to the governorate in March of last year.

This took place during the President's meeting on Sunday with the director manager of Al-Wihda Contracting Company, the firm executing the project, in the presence of the minister of state and governor of the capital Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas. During the meeting, the President received a detailed briefing on the structural design, sections, and annexes of the center, along with the specified timeline for implementation phases.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of adhering to the highest standards of quality and technical specifications in executing the project, in line with the agreed construction plans, and highlighted the need to complete the project on schedule due to its significant role in enhancing service and academic infrastructure in Shabwah.

President Al-Zubaidi noted that the project will represent a qualitative addition to the governorate, contributing to hosting various events, conferences, and exhibitions, and will support local development and strengthen the academic and community role of Shabwah University.
