President Al-Zubaidi Chairs Key Meeting of STC’s Top Executive Leadership

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), chaired on Saturday morning in the capital Aden a high-level meeting of the STC’s top executive leadership, attended by his deputy Abdulrahman al-Muharrami “Abu Zara’a”.

The meeting began by saluting the heroes of our valiant armed forces across all fields of duty and national tasks they have been carrying out, foremost among them safeguarding the victories and gains achieved in the “Promising Future” military operation, with the support and backing of citizens in Hadramout and Al-Mahra governorates.

The meeting discussed the latest developments on the domestic scene, with a primary focus on enhancing security and stability in Hadramout and Al-Mahra and ongoing efforts to normalise conditions in the two governorates following their full cleanse and securing. In this context, the meeting praised citizens of the Valley and Desert of Hadramout and of Al-Mahra, who were at the forefront of those contributing to these military and security achievements.

The meeting reviewed the requirements of the coming phase across political, economic, security and military fronts, in addition to the arrangements needed to normalise conditions, reinforce stability across all governorates of the South, and advance public services and developmental aspects.

In this regard, the President called on the people of South Arabia, both at home and abroad, for greater cohesiveness, alignment and coalescing around the armed forces and security services in all their formations and duties, particularly the Hadrami Elite Forces (HEF).

The President underlined the particular nature of the current phase the South is going through, which requires concerted efforts and a strong sense of responsibility toward the national tasks entrusted to Southern civil, political and military leaders and heads, alongside the role that various segments of Southern society, especially businessmen, should perform in building a modern federal state in South Arabia.

The meeting further discussed a range of topics and issues on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions regarding them.
