President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), sent a cable of congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the brotherly Arab Republic of Egypt, on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October 6, 1973 victory.
The cable stated:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency, in my name and on behalf of the people of the South, our highest congratulations and sincerest blessings on this momentous occasion, which will forever remain a defining moment in contemporary Arab history and an embodiment of the nation’s sterling will and determination to restore its dignity and safeguard its land.”
President Al-Zubaidi added, “As we join you in celebrating this immortal anniversary, we express our deep appreciation for brotherly Egypt and its wise leadership for their authentic positions in unwavering support of our people and their just cause, and for their pivotal role in promoting security and stability in the region.”
President Al-Zubaidi concluded his cable by highlighting his commitment to further strengthening the bonds of fraternity and joint cooperation between the people of the South and the Egyptian people in pursuit of the aspirations of the Arab nation for a future of peace, development, and prosperity.
