President Al-Zubaidi Meets with President of Iraq and Bahrain's Foreign Minister within PLC Delegation
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), participated in several bilateral meetings held by the PLC delegation, headed by Chairman Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, on Wednesday. The meetings took place on the sidelines of their participation in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
The delegation's meetings included His Excellency Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of the Republic of Iraq, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani.
The meetings reviewed the latest political and humanitarian developments in the country, ways to coordinate common stances on regional developments, shared challenges and issues of mutual interest, and means to enhance and develop these relations to serve the interests of our people and the peoples of brotherly Iraq and Bahrain.
