President Al-Zubaidi Conducts Visit to Capital Police Directorate and Inspects Workflow Across Departments

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (LPC), conducted a thorough inspection visit on Thursday to the Capital Police Directorate and was received by Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi and several department directors.

During the paid visit, the President toured the various police departments and units, reviewing their ongoing workflow, the nature of their duties, and their operational mechanisms.

His Excellency also inspected the workflow at the Joint Operations Department and was briefed on the progress made in equipping the Control and Command Unit that oversees new surveillance systems through cameras installed in streets and along main thoroughfares as part of the project to enhance society safety.

President Al-Zubaidi then chaired a meeting attended by Maj. Gen. Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, his assistants, department directors, and senior officers and listened to a comprehensive overview of the challenges they face in their work and the efforts being made to train and empower young personnel.

In the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi praised the significant achievements made by the Capital Police and the Security Belt Forces in the capital, Aden, in combating crime, narcotics, and smuggling, and their major role in cementing security, stability, and public tranquility across all districts.

In his remarks to the headship of the Capital Police, President Al-Zubaidi stated, "The stability that the capital, Aden, enjoys today would not have been realized without your dedication and loyalty in performing your duties."

The President added, "Your efforts have not been in vain; they have resulted in the security, stability, and tranquility we witness today, which are undoubtedly a source of pride and appreciation for your people and your leadership."

At the conclusion of his visit, President Al-Zubaidi urged the headship of the capital police to redouble their efforts to develop security operational mechanisms, build the capacity of young security personnel, and adopt modern technology to advance security work.
