President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces (SAF), and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) has called upon our great people of our Southern homeland across all governorates of the South to prepare for active participation in commemorating the 62nd anniversary of the glorious October 14th Revolution in Hadramaut and Al-Dhale'a, and to assemble in the capital, Aden, to mark the 58th anniversary of the glorious National Independence Day on November 30.
President Al-Zubaidi conveyed this message to our people in a statement published on his Excellency's social media account on Facebook and X:
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O our proud people of the South, free people of our great Southern homeland,
As we approach two momentous milestones in our people's history—the 62nd anniversary of the glorious October 14th Revolution and the 58th anniversary of our National Independence on November 30, 1967—we call upon the proud people of our beloved South in every corner of our homeland to massively rally and actively participate in commemorating the October 14th Revolution anniversary in governorates of Al-Dhale’a and Hadramaut, and across all our resilient governorates of the South.
Furthermore, we urge the masses of our people to rally in the capital, Aden, to honorably Commemorate the glorious thirtieth of November.
The large-scale rallies of our people and their gathering in squares across all governorates of the South to celebrate these twin occasions of revolution and independence will send a powerful message to the entire world: that we are marching steadily and determinely forward toward the restoration of our fully sovereign state of the South, stretching from Almahra to Bab el-Mandeb strait.
Indeed, our firm commitment to celebrating these two great anniversaries with enthusiasm and profound resolve is a reaffirmation of our covenant and a renewal of the promise we have made to ourselves to pursue steadfastly on the path charted by our blessed martyrs with their pure blood. It is also a pledge to safeguard the hard-won gains of our liberation revolution, to build upon the victories achieved by our valiant armed forces, and to solidify our Southern national rapprochement and cohesiveness.
Glory and eternity to our blessed martyrs, Recovery to our heroic wounded, And victory for our beloved South.
