President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), bid farewell on Thursday at Aden International Airport to 100 top-performing high school graduates from various governorates of the South, who are heading to the capital, Abu Dhabi, as part of a scholarship program offered by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in several scientific specializations.
In his farewell address, President Al-Zubaidi urged the students to be diligent, hardworking, and dedicated to their academic pursuits, and highlighted the importance of their role as exemplary ambassadors for their Southern homeland, so they may return equipped with knowledge and learning to contribute to the journey of construction and development.
President Al-Zubaidi also extended his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates, led by its president, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for his generous and unwavering support to our country in various fields, foremost among them the education sector, which represents a true investment in human beings.
In return, the students and their families expressed their profound gratitude to President Al-Zubaidi for his significant efforts in securing this scholarship and to their brothers in the UAE for their generous support and reaffirmed that this opportunity serves as a strong incentive for them to continue on a path of excellence and service to their homeland.
