President Al-Zubaidi Congratulates Officers and Personnel of Southern Armed Forces on Army's 54th Anniversary

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces (SAFs), congratulated the officers and personnel of our heroic armed forces on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of the founding of the Army of the South, marked on September 1, 1971.

To the brave officers and personnel of our valiant Southern Armed Forces (SAFs) and Security Services,

It gives me great pleasure to extend to you my highest expressions of congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of our Army of the South Day, marked on September 1st, a day on which we inspire the values of courage, loyalty, and sacrifice in defense of the land of the South, its sovereignty, and the dignity of its people.

Through your dedication in performing your sacred national duty and your legendary steadfastness in the fields of honor and heroism, you have embodied the most sublime images of ultimate sacrifice and devotion for your Southern homeland, the defense of your people, and safeguarding its hard-won gains.

You have proven at all stages and every turn that you are the faithful guardians of the South and its impregnable shield and that you are steadfastly continuing the covenant of the blessed martyrs and wounded heroes until the aspirations of our people for independence and the restoration of a fully sovereign state are achieved.

On this momentous occasion, which is so dear to our hearts, we renew our firm pledge to you and to our people that we continue together on the path of the blessed martyrs—both leadership and people standing as one, unified in building a strong army on solid national foundations.

Mercy upon our blessed martyrs, speedy recovery for our wounded heroes, and glory to our valiant Army of the South.
