President Al-Zubaidi Launches Field Inspection Program for Presidential Oversight and Political Guidance Teams

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), launched on Sunday the field program for presidential oversight and political guidance teams during an expanded meeting in the capital, Aden, in the presence of Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly and head of the teams; Mr. Abdulrahman Jalal, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the STC; and Mr. Momen Al-Saqqaf, head of the STC’s Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) in the capital.

In his speech during the event, which included the LLEBs of the capital, Aden, and its districts, President Al-Zubaidi emphasized that the field visit program for the presidential teams is an extension of the national struggle led by the STC and aims to strengthen organizational and administrative work in the governorates and districts of the South, activate coordination between the council's LLEBs and local authorities, and get closer to citizens' concerns and contribute to meeting their needs.

President Al-Zubaidi urged the LLEBs of the STC, local authorities, and the people of the South in all governorates, districts, and centers to positively and actively engage with the presidential teams and support their efforts to strengthen cohesiveness among citizens and achieve tangible results on the ground.

The President singled out the STC's executive body in the capital, Aden, stating, "Launching this program from Aden recognizes its unique significance and special status, and it is an honor for its residents and executive body. We hope that you will do your best to work side by side in collaborating with the team led by Mr. Ali Al-Kathiri." His Excellency reaffirmed that the oversight teams will supervise the Council’s organizational work in governorates and districts, continuing the tasks carried out by the STC’s central bodies and its representatives in the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) and government.

President Al-Zubaidi added that, "Your presence on the ground has been pivotal in implementing recent economic recovery decisions; with your patience, resolve, and dedication, we will definitely build on these successes and steadfastly advance toward the goals that our people have been relentlessly struggling for and ultimately sacrificing their best sons."

Following his remarks, President Al-Zubaidi and attending STC senior officials listened to interventions outlining current priorities and required tasks. Moreover, the attendees proposed measures, suggestions, and ideas to strengthen organizational and administrative performance, ensuring the Council’s effective presence in governorates, districts, and centers to find out about citizens' political, service-related, and economic aspirations.
