President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Workflow at Legal Affairs and Human Rights Ministry

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Thursday in the capital, Aden, with Dr. Ahmed Omar bin Arman, Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the ministry’s workflow and efforts to implement its mandate of reinforcing the rule of law within governmental institutions, protecting human rights, and advancing social justice.

President Al-Zubaidi received a detailed briefing from Minister A'rman on what has been achieved in documenting crimes and violations committed by Houthi terrorist militias against civilians in areas under their control and certain liberated areas, as the documentation has collectively been carried out in coordination with both local and international human rights organizations operating in the field.

The President also listened to a detailed explanation from Minister bin Arman about what has been achieved in monitoring and documenting the crimes and violations committed by the Houthi terrorist militia against innocent citizens in the areas under its control, as well as in some liberated areas, in coordination with local and international human rights organizations working in this field.

President Al-Zubaidi emphasized the importance of redoubling efforts to professionally and transparently document all violations to hold perpetrators accountable and present the international community with a clear picture of the scale of crimes and abuses perpetrated by these militias against whoever disagrees with or opposes their sectarian policies.
