President Al-Zubaidi Reviews Special Forces' Readiness and Urges Intensified Training Programs and Capacity Building

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Sunday with Major General Fadl Abdullah Ba’esh, commander of the Special Security Forces (SSF) operating across Aden, Lahij, Abyan, and Al-Dhale'a governorates.

During the meeting, President Al‑Zubaidi was briefed on the operational readiness of the SSP and reviewed the progress in executing the assigned tasks, as well as the level of coordination and collaboration with other security services, emphasizing the importance of strengthening joint security effectiveness.

President Al‑Zubaidi commended the level of discipline and readiness of the SSFs and highlighted their role in maintaining security and stability and combating crime and terrorism within their areas of responsibility, and assured them of his full support in providing all necessary requirements for the force’s command to enhance their capabilities and facilitate their high-efficiency mission execution.

At the end of the meeting, the president stressed the need for ongoing, intensified training and professional development programs and upgrading capabilities of officers and personnel across various security and specialized domains. His Excellency further reiterated that advancing the military and security forces’ capabilities is a fundamental pillar to cementing stability and safeguarding the hard-won achievements secured by the people of the South.
