President Al-Zubaidi Chairs Meeting with Shabwa Defense Forces Command

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), chaired a high-level meeting on Sunday with the command of the Shabwa Defense Forces, headed by Brigadier General Ali Al-Kulaibi and attended by several commanders of defense forces units and Southern military forces.

President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed briefing from the commanders of the Shabwa Defense Forces on the latest military and security developments in the districts of the Shabwa governorate, the achievements made at the military and security levels there, and the readiness level of their units to face all challenges within their military and security deployment.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the heroes of the Shabwa Defense Forces for their qualitative achievements in establishing security and stability and combating terrorism during the "Arrows of the South" military operation and expressed appreciation for the immense sacrifices they are making alongside their counterparts in the rest of the armed forces during the valiant confrontation against the Houthi terrorist militias along Shabwa Governorate's border frontlines.

The STC President reaffirmed his full support for the Shabwa Defense Forces, stressing the critical need to boost coordination and integration among military and security units in the governorate, to maintain high readiness and vigilance, and to continue efforts to enhance training, development, and modernization across various combat, operational, and morale fronts.

To the end of the meeting, Brigadier General Al-Kulaibi expressed, on behalf of the Shabwa Defense Forces, his profound gratitude and appreciation to President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi for his strong interest in the Southern Armed Forces, including the Shabwa Defense Forces, and reaffirmed that the forces are in full operational readiness to execute all assigned security and military tasks entrusted to them.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, a member of the STC's Presidium and Head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) supporting the PLC, and Brigadier General Mukhtar Al-Nubi, commander of the 5th Support and Reinforcement Brigade.
