President Al-Zubaidi Affirms Full Support for Reforming and Activating Judicial System

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Saturday with Judge Mohsen Yahya Talib Al-Hawshabi, Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC).

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by Judge Al-Hawshabi on the workflow in the judicial authority institutions and public prosecutions, and the difficulties they face in light of the exceptional circumstances the country is going through.

President Al-Zubaidi also listened to a detailed explanation on the judicial and prosecution staff, the efforts made to improve their conditions, outlining the ongoing changes in certain judicial bodies, and the mechanisms of judicial  inspection to evaluate performance, boosting efficiency, transparency, and discipline, and upholding the principles of justice and the rule of law.

President Al-Zubaidi affirmed his full support for all efforts aimed at reforming and activating the judicial system, ensuring the achievement of justice and providing a safe and stable environment that protects the rights of citizens and safeguards state institutions.

For his part, Judge Al-Hawshabi appreciated President Al-Zubaidi's interest and unwavering support for the judiciary, highlighting the SJC's
commitment to developing judicial performance, overcoming operational obstacles to courts and prosecutions to perform their tasks efficiently and impartially.
