President Al-Zubaidi Discusses Military and Security Developments in Liberated Governorates with Lt. Gen. Al-Subaihi

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and vice chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Thursday with Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Al-Subaihi, advisor to the chairman of the PLC on defense and security affairs.

The meeting reviewed the latest military and security developments in the liberated governorates at various levels, as well as the efforts to enhance security stability, coordinating mechanisms among military and security units, and the integration of roles to confront escalating threats.

Similarly, the meeting focused on the situation in Almahra in light of the recent developments in the governorate and their repercussions, and highlighting the need to intensify efforts to maintain the stability of the governorate and provide the necessary military and security support to thwart any attempts to undermine its security.

The meeting touched on the ongoing Houthi escalation on several fronts, the readiness and vigilance of forces picketed at the various positions, and ways to bolster their operational, intelligence, and logistical capabilities.
