President Al-Zubaidi Emphasizes Strengthening Military-Security Coordination to Preserve Security and Stability

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and vice chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), stressed the critical need to enhance coordination and integration between the armed forces and security services to solidify security and protect national gains achieved through the immense sacrifices made by heroes of our armed forces and security services on various fields and fronts.

This came during his meeting on Thursday in the capital, Aden, with the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Muhammad Al-Da'eri, and Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Haidan, with whom His Excellency discussed the latest developments in the military and security situation in all liberated governorates.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Defense Minister on field reports on the readiness of armed forces across various fronts and the ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance the combat capabilities of military personnel and boost training and qualification programs through military educational institutions.

In addition, President Al-Zubaidi received a detailed briefing from the Interior Minister on the ministry's action plan to enhance security performance, including measures taken to secure vital intergovernmental highways and ensure smooth traffic flow. In this regard, the President stressed the Supreme Security Committee's responsibility to oversee the process of reopening and securing roads and to rigorously assess potential risks involved in reopening certain roads.

At the end of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the imperative for continued close coordination between military and security institutions and emphasized the need to work with a spirit of national responsibility to preserve security and stability and safeguard hard-won gains achieved through the pure blood of blessed martyrs and ultimate sacrifices of the wounded.
