President Al-Zubaidi Inspects Final Works on Socotra Archipelago Government Complex

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), inspected on Thursday the progress of finishing works at the new government complex in Socotra Archipelago Governorate, which was constructed with local authority funding.

During the visit, in which his Excellency was accompanied by several members of the STC's Presidium and government ministers, President Al-Zubaidi toured the premises of the building while being briefed by the Governor of Socotra, Eng. Ra'afat Al-Thaqali, on the project’s implementation phases, the progress achieved so far, and the challenges affecting the scheduled completion timeline.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to redouble efforts to complete the finishing works according to the specified timeline, highlighted the importance of adhering to technical and engineering specifications to ensure the quality of the building, and emphasized its readiness to accommodate government offices and provide services to residents as soon as possible.

President Al-Zubaidi reaffirmed that this vital project represents a significant step toward strengthening the presence of state institutions in Socotra Governorate and improving the level of administrative services provided to residents, praising the efforts of the local authority in following up on development projects aimed at advancing the infrastructure of the archipelago. .
