President Al-Zubaidi Holds Meeting with STC's Executive Bodies in Socotra Archipelago Governorate

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), held a meeting on Tuesday evening with the local leadership executive body (LLEB) of the STC in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate.

President Al-Zubaidi, in a speech during the meeting attended by Mr. Ra'afat Al-Thaqali, Governor of the Socotra Archipelago; Mr. Saeed Omar Bin Qublan, head of the LLEB in the governorate; and several ministers of the STC's Presidium, Contact, and Bolstering Political Awareness Teams, emphasized the importance of strengthening organizational and political work and coordinating efforts with local authorities to better serve residents of the archipelago and meet their aspirations, reiterating the ongoing work of the STC's leadership for local leaders in the governorate and pledging to ease any obstacles hindering their work.

For his part, Mr. Saeed Bin Qublan, head of the LLEB in Socotra, welcomed President Al-Zubaidi and his accompanying delegation, describing the visit as a significant boost to the morale and institutional capacity of the LLEB in the governorate and reinforcing the efforts aimed at achieving more stability and development in the governorate.

Mr. Bin Qublan also highlighted the LLEB's commitment to the deeply rooted national fundamentals, vowing that they will continue the unrelenting struggle in honor of the ultimate sacrifices that'll have been made by the blessed martyrs who gave their precious lives for the victory of the South and the just cause of its people.

President Al-Zubaidi then listened to a detailed explanation of the various activities and programs carried out by the LLEBs in the Socotra Archipelago Governorate and the districts of Hadibu and Qulensya and Abd al Kuri and was briefed on the plans and programs slated for implementation in the upcoming phase, as well as the challenges facing the LLEBs' workflow and ways to overcome them.
