President Al-Zubaidi Tours Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayid Hospital in Socotra and Inspects Healthcare Services
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), conducted an inspection visit on Tuesday to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayid Hospital in Hadibo, the downtown of Socotra Archipelago Governorate.
During the tour, the President, accompanied by Socotra Governor Ra'afat Al-Thaqali, senior officials of the STC, several government ministers, and the head of the local leadership executive body (LLEB) of the STC in the governorate, toured various sections of the hospital and received a detailed explanation from the medical staff on the range of the healthcare services provided to the residents of the archipelago.
President Al-Zubaidi lauded the vital role of Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in providing free medical care to the people of Socotra and the generous support provided by the United Arab Emirates to the healthcare sector in Socotra, which has spared patients and their families the hardship of traveling outside the archipelago to receive medical treatment.
