President Al-Zubaidi Leads Meeting to Review Outcomes of Contact and Bolstering Political Awareness Teams in Governorates of the South
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), chaired a meeting today, Wednesday, with Contact and Bolstering Political Awareness Teams, in the presence of heads of the teams, who are members of the STC's Presidium, and the STC's ministers in the government.
President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed briefing from the heads of the teams regarding the outcomes of the on-the-ground visits they conducted across various governorates of the South, which aimed to assess the conditions and needs of citizens, as well as to evaluate the level of organizational performance of local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) in the governorates and districts.
The team heads highlighted the key observations and recommendations arising from their official and society engagements, which reflected the pulse of the public and its demands, while shedding light on the key issues and multifaceted challenges faced by the people of the South across various political, economic, and service-related aspects.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the diligent efforts made by the field teams in carrying out their tasks, emphasized the importance of strengthening organized institutional work in addressing pressing issues, and continued to enhance political awareness among citizens, which would contribute to realizing their aspirations and solidifying the principles of the national project of the South.
President Al-Zubaidi directed that the outcomes of the meetings be followed up through a comprehensive executive matrix, encompassing the findings of the reports submitted by the field teams and the recommendations resulting from their engagements. In addition to the preparation of a time-bound action plan outlining practical steps to address the issues identified and for appropriate measures to be taken to effectively resolve them in coordination with relevant authorities.
At the end of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi underscored the importance of continuing fieldwork and maintaining direct engagement with citizens to essentially ensure an effective response to their needs and to reinforce their trust in the pioneer role of the STC in representing them and advocating their rights.
