STC Hadhramaut Reassures Health of Those Injured at Yemeni Military Checkpoints While Participating in Seiyun Large-scale Rally

The committee was formed by the local leadership executive body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Hadramaut, headed by lawyer Haj Bawazir, head of the committee to monitor violations and incidents during the 'Identity of the South' million-person event in Seiyun city, the downtown of the Valley of Hadhramaut, reassured, today, Monday, on the health of Hadrami citizens injured during the rally organized by the STC.

A number of citizens of Shibam district were injured while returning to their homes after being stopped, intimidated by gunfire, and subjected to violent physical assaults. The attacks resulted in varying degrees of injury, including serious cases receiving treatment at Roya Eye Hospital.

The Monitoring Committee condemned these brazen attacks on the peaceful rallies arriving to participate in the million-person celebrative event of the 14th of October Revolution anniversary.

The Head of the Committee called on the Director-General of Security Service and the Director of Criminal Investigation in the Hadhramaut Valley and Desert to arrest the perpetrators and take legal action against them.
