President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), received today, Thursday, His Excellency Mohammed Hamad Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the brotherly United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Yemen.
The meeting reviewed deeply-rooted fraternal relations between our country and the brotherly United Arab Emirates and to further enhance and develop them in a way that serves the common interests of the two peoples and the two brotherly countries.
The meeting touched on the extensive humanitarian and development projects implemented in the liberated governorates, funded by the brotherly United Arab Emirates, covering sectors such as energy, infrastructure, security services, and many other vital sectors.
President Al-Zubaidi lauded the unwavering support provided by the UAE to the government and the PLC and its steadfast fraternal positions with our people both in the past and present, affirming that those positions will definitely remain etched forever in the conscience of our people, generation after generation.
For his part, the ambassador Al-Zaabi reiterated the constant commitment of the UAE government to supporting our country and backing the PLC's efforts to overcome the humanitarian crisis caused by the war, as well as the ongoing efforts to normalize life and maintain security and stability in all liberated governorates.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Deputy Ambassador, and Mr. Juma Al Mazrouei, Secretary of the Ambassador, and from the STC, Mr. Amr Al-Baidh, member of the STC's Presidium and Special Representative of the President of the STC, Mr. Imad Mohammed, Director of the Office of the Vice President of the PLC, and Mr. Saleh Al-Quaiti, Advisor to the Vice President of the PLC.
