President Al-Zubaidi Issues Series of Decrees on Appointments and Promotions to Senior Leadership Positions Within the Southern Armed Forces

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STS) and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, has issued on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, a number of decrees regarding appointments and promotions to senior leadership positions in the Southern Armed Forces for units that have completed restructuring and training, which are as follows:

• Decree No. (30) regarding promotions and appointments to the 6th Thunderbolt Brigade.

• Decree No. (31) regarding promotions and appointments to the 2nd Infantry Brigade.

• Decree No. (32) regarding promotions and appointments to the 2nd Support and Reinforcement Brigade.

• Decree No. (33) regarding promotions and appointments to the Fifth Support and Reinforcement Brigade.

• Decree No. (34) regarding promotions and appointments to Al-Dhale'a axis Support and Reinforcement companies.

• Decree No. (35) regarding promotions and appointments to the 2nd Hazm (Decisive) Brigade.

• Decree No. (36) regarding promotions and appointments to the 14th Thunderbolt Brigade.

• Decree No. (37) regarding promotions and appointments in the two Battalions of Support and Reinforcement in Al-Dhale'a.

• Decree No. (38) regarding promotions and appointments to the First Brigade, Special Forces.

• Decree No. (39) regarding promotions and appointments to the Military Police Brigade.

The first article of the decree stipulates that all concerned authorities must implement them and take all relevant administrative and financial measures.

The second article of the decree stipulates that they shall be effective from the date of their issuance.
