President Al-Zubaidi Stresses Swift Completion of Renovation and Development Works at Al-Gamhuria Hospital

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), was briefed on the progress of work at Al-Gamhuria Modern Hospital, in the capital, Aden, when his excellency met at his office today, Wednesday, with the director of the Hospital Board of Directors, Dr. Mohammed Hassan Al-Saqqaf.

Similarly, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the overall workflow at the hospital, the quality of medical care it provides to patients from Aden and neighboring governorates, and the efforts of the hospital administration to implement the government-approved plan to rehabilitate the hospital and its sections to enhance its medical services and ensure the best possible care for patients.

Likewise, the President listened to a detailed briefing about a number of approved projects to develop the infrastructure of the teaching hospital, with a focus on the ongoing construction work to build the hospital fence, the outpatient clinic expansion project, the emergency section renovation project, and efforts to coordinate with donor humanitarian organizations to secure funding and support for the kidney dialysis department.

The President underscored the urgency of expediting the renovation and modernization efforts at the hospital, raising the efficiency and capabilities of its medical and nursing staff, and equipping the facility with cutting-edge medical equipment and technology, given the importance of the hospital's critical role in serving the residents of Aden and neighboring governorates, as it stands as their primary destination for medical care.
