President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Aden International Airport Rehabilitation Project Progress

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Wednesday, with Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, and Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdulsalam Humaid.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Governor of the capital and the Minister of Transport on the progress made in the rehabilitation project of Aden International Airport, which is funded by Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program (SDRP), and the efforts made to develop the airport's infrastructure and modernize its technical aspects, which contribute to raising the pace of navigation activity and improving the level of services provided to passengers.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi directed the Minister of Transport and the Governor of the capital to quickly open the airport's main gates, organize entry and exit procedures for passengers to and from the airport, and develop its external facades as it is the window of the capital, Aden, to the outside world.

The meeting was attended by a member of the STC's Presidium, Head of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the STC in the capital, Aden, Mr. Mu'min al-Saqqaf, and Mr. Imad Muhammad, Director of the Office of the Vice President of the PLC.
