President Al-Zubaidi Stresses Importance of General Secretariat Departments to Step up and Fulfill Executive Responsibilities

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), stressed the importance of departments of the General Secretariat of the STC's Presidium fulfilling their tasks and assuming responsibilities as the STC's executive body.

This came during his meeting today, Wednesday, with the heads of the General Secretariat Departments, in the presence of the member of the STC's Presidium, Acting Secretary-General Major General Kamal Hamsheri, and Dr. Nasser Al-Khubbaji, Head of the Political Commission, where his excellency was briefed on the progress of work in the departments, the activities implemented during the past period, and their plans and programs for the second half of the current year 2024, and listened to the difficulties faced in implementing some of the activities and the mechanisms to solve them.

The President emphasized the need to strengthen discipline among the secretariat staff, intensify efforts, and integrate them between the departments and the auxiliary bodies, each within its own jurisdiction, as well as raise the level of follow-up and supervision of the work of the local leadership executive bodies in the governorates and expand work among citizens in a way that achieves the general goals of the STC.

In turn, the heads of the departments expressed their thanks and appreciation to President Al-Zubaidi for his interest, continued follow-up on the progress of work in the secretariat, and his keenness to ease all the difficulties they face, despite the enormity of the responsibilities placed on his shoulders.
