President Al-Zubaidi Urges Labor Unions to Coordinate Efforts with Ministries

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Wednesday, with the head and members of the Executive Office and the representatives of the unions affiliated with the Public Federation of Southern Workers' Unions.

The meeting discussed ways to activate the work of the committees formed by the Federation and the unions within its framework, to coordinate work with the relevant ministries in the government, and to raise all issues related to their work to the Prime Minister's Office in accordance with the outcomes of the meeting between the Federation's leadership and President Al-Zubaidi last Ramadan.

The meeting also reviewed the efforts made by the leadership of the Public Federation to enhance union work and strengthen the presence of unions of the South to support their members and extract their rights. In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of improving the organizational work of the unions, activating their roles, and raising the capabilities of their cadres and members in all governorates.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Nasser Al-Khubbaji, Head of the Political Commission, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit in the STC, Brigadier General Pilot Nasser Al-Saadi, Head of the Community Commission, and A'ad Muhammad Ali Haitham, Head of the Social and Popular Affairs Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the STC.
