President Al-Zubaidi Commends Struggles and Sacrifices of Hajr Citizens in Defending the South and Protecting Its Borders

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), commended the unrelenting struggle and ultimate sacrifices of the people of Hajr, north of Ad Dale'a Governorate, in confronting the Houthi militia and protecting the borders of the South. This came during his meeting today, Saturday, with a number of its social figures and dignitaries.

President Al-Zubaidi listened to a detailed explanation from the attendees about the situation in Hajr and the suffering that the people face as a result of the almost daily Houthi attacks, as well as the efforts of dignitaries and social figures in resolving the problems and issues witnessed in the area.

During the meeting, which was attended by members of the STC's Presidium, lawyer Yahya Ghaleb Al-Sha'ibi, Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Jifri, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Political Commission, and Brigadier General Nasser Al-Saadi, Head of the Community Commission, President Al-Zubaidi reaffirmed his support for the people of Hajr, considering them the first line in defense of the South against the terrorist Houthi militia, and commending their continued support that they have been providing to the Southern Forces stationed on the front lines north of Ad Dale'a.

President Al-Zubaidi emphasized the need to preserve social cohesiveness among the people of Hajr and to take a serious and firm stance against any attempts to destabilize the area in a way that maintains the security and tranquility of its people and secures the gains that have been achieved by the enormous and ultimate sacrifices made by the heroic and blessed martyrs of Hajr and the South in general.

In turn, the attendees from the social figures and dignitaries of Hajr expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the attention paid by President Al-Zubaidi to their area and all adjacent borders of the South, affirming that they are committed to their pledge and will surely continue their uncompromising struggle and sacrifices against the Houthi militia and in defense of the borders of the South until the last drop of their blood.
