President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Tuesday evening with the leadership of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance, represented by Dr. Mohammad Aida Shabiba, Minister of Endowments, and several undersecretaries of the ministry.
In the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi welcomed the leadership of the Ministry of Endowments and congratulated them on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Furthermore, his excellency listened to a brief explanation of the workflow in the Ministry, what was accomplished in various sectors during the past period, and the Ministry’s role in rationalizing religious discourse, spreading the culture of moderation, and promoting the middle way in religious sermons.
Similarly, President Al-Zubaidi listened to a briefing from the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Affairs of Hajj and Umrah (Pilgrimage), Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rabbash, in which he summarized the exerted efforts to prepare for the upcoming Hajj season, its role in serving pligrims to the sanctified House of Allah, and overcoming the difficulties they face.
Minister Shabiba and the attending undersecretaries of the ministry expressed their thanks and gratitude for the efforts of President Al-Zubaidi in supporting the leadership of the ministry and his constant keenness to overcome the difficulties that may hinder their work.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, a member of the STC's Presidium and head of the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the STC in the capital, Aden, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, Head of the Assistant Political Commission assisting the Presidium of the STC and the Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit in the STC, and Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of the National Southern Media Authority (NSMA).
