President Al-Zubaidi Congratulates Women of the South on Women’s International Day

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), sent his heartfelt congratulations to all women of the South on Women’s International Day.

It was stated in a post on his social media pages, the full text of which is as follows:

The eighth day of March represents an opportunity to deeply express our pride and reverence for the great roles and contributions of women in all different fields.

Indeed, women of the South have been and still are the harbingers and driving force of change at the level of family and society in the South in the past and present, as well as the partnership of men in the unrelenting struggles to liberate the land and humanize human beings. Since the dawn of the first independence, the women of the South have embodied a bright history of ultimate sacrifices, grand achievement, and pioneering leadership, not only at the level of the South but across the Arab and the entire world.

Today, as the world celebrates this momentous occasion of Women's International Day, I am immensely pleased and honored to extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the women of our beloved southern homeland from Almahra to Bab al-Mandeb Strait.

May you always be happy and well, and I wish you further progress and pioneerity.
