President Al-Zoubaidi Discusses Political Developments and Peace Efforts with CRC

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Monday, at his office in the capital, Aden, with the Chairman of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission (CRC) in support of the PLC, Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, and his deputies, Mr. Abdul-Malik Al-Mikhlafi, Mr. Sakhr Al-Wajeeh, Ms. Jamila Ali Raja, and Mr. Akram Nasib Al-Amiri. .

The meeting discussed the latest developments in the political situation in the country and the efforts related to the peace process. In this regard, President Al-Zoubaidi renewed his support for the CRC, stressing the importance of its role in supporting and assisting the PLC in the peace process, as well as the need for political components, forces, and active parties to be involved in any discussions or decisions related to the peace process and political settlement.

For his part, the Chairman of the CRC and his deputies expressed their thanks and gratitude for the position of President Al-Zoubaidi and the STC in supporting the efforts of the Commission and the PLC, affirming that they are pursuing their efforts to build and develop joint negotiating positions among all parties and to support the course of action of the joint negotiating delegation, which is expected to carry out its duties and responsibilities in the near future, as a representative of the various forces within the PLC.
