President Al-Zoubaidi: We will Never Tolerate any Disrespect to the Judiciary and its Autonomy

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zoubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), reiterated his full support for the great efforts exerted by the judicial authority to enforce the law and strengthen the authority of the state, stressing that the security services will strike with an iron hand against whoever dares to harm the judiciary, its autonomy, members, or institutions.

This came during his meeting today, Tuesday, with Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC), Judge Mohsen Talib Al-Hawshabi, who briefed his excellency on the status of courts and prosecutors and the progress of work in them, and the efforts exerted by the SJC to improve the conditions of judges, enhance the work of judicial institutions, and provide them with well-qualified and efficient staff.

President Al-Zoubaidi stressed the importance of concerted efforts by the judiciary and security services and working in a team spirit to ensure that the courts and prosecutors carry out their duty in law enforcement, upholding the rule of law, preserving the prestige of the state, and consolidating security and stability.

To the end of the meeting, Judge Al-Hawshabi expressed his gratitude for all the efforts made by President Al-Zoubaidi to support the judicial authority in performing their duties, strengthening their independence, easing the difficulties they face, and bringing triumph for the rights of their affiliated employees.
