President Al-Zubaidi Pays Visit to Family of Late Martyr Abdul-Latif Al-Sayyed in Abyan

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), paid a visit to the family of the late martyr, Commander Abdul-Latif Al-Sayyed, at his home in Batais district, Abyan governorate.

During the visit, President Al-Zubaidi offered his deepest condolences to the father of the blessed martyr, Mr. Mohammad Hussein Bafakih, and his brother Haidara Mohammad Bafakih, the commander of the Security Belt Forces in Abyan governorate, asserting that the martyrdom of the commander Abdul Latif does not represent a tragic loss for his family and relatives only but also represents a heavy loss for Abyan and the South in general.

The President highlighted that the heroics and great victories with flying colours of the late martyr Abdul-Latif al-Sayyed and the feats he immortalized throughout his life's journey will definitely remain a source of pride for every southerner.

In turn, the father and brother of the blessed martyr expressed their thanks to President Al-Zubaidi for this visit, affirming that his coming to the martyr's house is a source of pride for the family and that their consolation in the martyr Abdul-Latif is to pursue walking in his path until the restoration of the fully sovereign state of the South.

The President was accompanied on his visit by members of the Presidium of the STC: Major General Kamal Hamshari, office head of the President of the STC, Major General Ali Nasser Lakhsha'a, Mr. Abdul-Nasser Al-Ja’ari, Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Soqtari, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Fisheries, Mr. Emad Mohammed, Office Head of the Vice President of the PLC, and Brigadier General Mukhtar Al-Nubi, Commander of the Abyan Axis.
